Providers administering vaccines to individuals displaced by Hurricane Katrina/Rita should notify the Immunization Registry Information System (IRIS) at 1-800-374-3958 to allow vaccine information to be forwarded to the appropriate state's immunization registry.

National Flood Insurance Program Announces Simplified Adjustment Process for Policyholders Affected by Hurricane Katrina

Policy holders with important insurance documents can contact NFIP's flood insurance hotline at 1-800-427-4661 to get their policy information. A listing of insurance company phone numbers, along with additional insurance information, is also available at www.fema.gov/press/2005/katrinainsurance.shtm.

People in every state are encouraged to visit www.FloodSmart.gov to learn more about their flooding risk and how to protect themselves.
